I have 29 years of experience. I began my journey as a hairstylist at a little salon in Bogota,
Colombia. On March 17, 1990, my wife, daughter, and I moved to the U.S. to pursue the American dream.
After struggling between several jobs, irrelevant to my passion, I received my hair stylist's license
and was able to work in a chain of salons as a hairstylist and manager.
Finally I was invited to work for Farouk Systems Group Inc. Due to my hard work and passion I was chosen to work for Miss USA,
a beauty pageant in Las Vegas for 5 years in a row and later thrice for Miss Universe in Vietnam and the Bahamas.
Currently I am a part of the Creative Artistic Team as well as an educator. I travel all over the United States,
Canada,Spain, Mexico, and Colombia sharing my knowledge with my fellow stylist while working full time in my full service salon,
Pyramid Hair Studio & Retreat, in Houston, TX, where I work with a team of 20 professional hairstylists, nail technicians, and shampoo techs.
